Trinity are hiring a Service Engineer to join our dedicated team in the South of England. In the role, you will be providing maintenance and servicing of our clients' Fire and Security systems.
Working within a defined region of the United Kingdom, you will have the opportunity to obtain certifications in industry leading systems including Gent and earn through our engineering commission scheme!
The role of Service Engineer:
- Providing maintenance and servicing to our client’s fire and security systems.
- Completing the scheduled servicing in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to Trinity’s high-quality standards.
- Working as part of a skilled team of Service Engineers and being supported by our wider support departments to provide high quality service and customer experience.
- Liaising with service administrators and other internal stakeholders to ensure our service commitments are met.
- Working to a planned service and maintenance schedule, emergency call out requirements.
- Issuing remedial repairs and minor additions to existing installations in line with service administration guidance.
Experience in servicing and maintaining fire, security, CCTV and access control systems to relevant British Standards:
- Ability to identify all types of cable associated with fire detection and security systems, and to correctly test and terminate the cable ends in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions.
- To always provide outstanding customer service.
- Understanding the basic building services to test cause and effect of fire alarm interfaces.
- A comprehensive understanding of the causes and cures of fire, intruder, CCTV and access control problems, including an ability to recommend changes to practices and processes that may cause false alarms as well as recommending changes to the systems.
- Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA).
- Manufacturers training with a minimum requirement of Notifier and Gent equipment in respect of servicing.
