Job Overview: We are currently recruiting for a part-time Administrator to join a well-established company based in Dudley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and a solid understanding of basic accounting duties, invoicing, and VAT. The role offers flexible working hours and a competitive hourly rate. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Sage Line 50. Key Responsibilities: * Serve as the main point of contact for customers and suppliers, managing relationships effectively. * Assist with general administrative tasks and support the Office Manager as needed. * Maintain accurate financial records, including inputting data into Sage Line 50 and processing VAT Returns. * Create and manage documents and spreadsheets in Word and Excel, and assist with maintaining access databases. * Handle invoicing and ensure timely and accurate billing for services provided. * Support basic bookkeeping tasks, including reconciling financial records and assisting with month-end tasks. * Work closely with the engineering and contract teams to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations. Knowledge/Experience Required: * Strong understanding of accounts administration with a focus on invoicing and VAT. * Proficiency with Sage Line 50 and hands-on experience processing VAT returns. * Experience in Word, Excel, and Access databases. * Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles and general accounting practices. * Previous experience working with engineers or in contract management is desirable but not essential.
