Job Description

The role of Paralegal (Debt Recovery) is responsible for supporting the company’s in-house legal function by instructing and liaising with external solicitors, managing landlord and tenant and civil litigation matters, and handling associated legal, administrative, and evidential tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the key point of contact with external solicitors, issuing clear instructions and supporting cases through hearings and trial.
  • Manage contentious Landlord & Tenant, civil litigation, and debt recovery matters from instruction to resolution.
  • Drive case preparation by uncovering facts, gathering evidence, and building robust case files.
  • Partner with Credit Control and Property Management teams to progress disputes quickly and effectively.
  • Produce concise reports, carry out targeted legal research, and obtain witness and party statements.
  • Provide hands-on administrative support, including managing correspondence, calls, and attending court when required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
