We are looking for a commercially minded Client Account & Customer Service Associate to support customer relationships, account management and sales administration.
This is a varied, customer-focused role involving day-to-day account support, managing enquiries, preparing quotations and documentation, maintaining customer records and assisting the sales team.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and administration experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Account Support
- Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries and day-to-day account support.
- Provide excellent customer service by telephone, email and other communication channels.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Manage customer enquiries, updates, quotations and follow-up activity.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests.
- Ensure customer requirements are communicated effectively across internal teams.
- Support customer retention and ongoing account development.
- Sales & Administration
- Support the sales team with day-to-day administration.
- Prepare quotations, reports, presentations and customer documentation.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, customer details and sales activity.
- Assist with sales enquiries and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Process and monitor customer information and commercial documentation.
- Follow up quotations and outstanding enquiries.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Provide general administrative support as required.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience within customer service, sales administration, account support or a similar commercial role.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident dealing with customers, colleagues and external contacts.
- Good attention to detail and a professional approach.
- Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Experience within transport, logistics, events, entertainment or another fast-paced industry would be advantageous.
