We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business looking for an experienced Sales Office Supervisor to lead, motivate and develop a busy internal sales and customer service team.

The Role

As Sales Office Supervisor, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Sales Office, ensuring customers receive an outstanding experience from enquiry through to delivery.

You'll work closely with the external sales team, production, planning and logistics to keep everything running smoothly.

You'll also play a key role in coaching and developing your team, improving processes and identifying opportunities to grow existing customer accounts.

  • Leading, motivating and developing a team of Sales & Customer Service Advisors.
  • Coaching, mentoring and carrying out regular performance reviews.
  • Ensuring customer enquiries and orders are handled efficiently and professionally.
  • Supporting the team with more complex customer queries and escalations.
  • Driving quotation follow-up and increasing conversion rates.
  • Encouraging proactive sales activity with existing, dormant and new customers.
  • Building strong relationships with key customers.
  • Working collaboratively with production, planning and warehouse teams to ensure excellent customer communication.
  • Monitoring KPIs, sales performance and customer service standards.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and producing management reports.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, customer experience and overall team performance.
