About the role

The Facilities Officer is responsible for providing day-to-day operational support to ensure the smooth running of office facilities at Upper Ground and assisting other Trinity teams/locations with general office services.

This role is structured as a Level 2 Facilities Services Operative Apprenticeship, leading to a Level 2 Certificate in Facilities Principles provided by the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management. Candidates must hold Grade A-C GCSE level qualifications in English and Maths, and commit to completing the full apprenticeship programme (15 months) as a condition of appointment.

Your role will include, but not be limited to, responsibilities in the following areas:

  • Good level of general education
  • Understanding of customer service ethos and provision of customer excellence.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office tools and various other digital platforms
  • Prior work experience in an office-based environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable building relationships and supporting stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong team worker
  • Well organised, able to prioritise and work to multiple tight deadlines
  • Shows high levels of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work on own initiative and without close supervision from time to time
