About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to support and manage the efficient running of the Accounts Payable function. You will be a subject matter expert when it comes to Accounts Payable processes and controls, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives as well as ensuring accurate processing of invoices and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally. It is imperative that you can act as a key point of contact for all Accounts Payable matters.

Trinity continues to embed and enhance its financial processes so this is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in Accounts Payable to contribute to change and optimisation.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Team management
  • Invoice Processing
  • Query Management
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of supplier master data and onboarding activities
  • Month-End and Year-End Activities
  • Reconciliations
  • Reporting on key performance indicators and management information
  • Fraud Control Systems and Continuous Improvement

About you

We are looking for someone who has proven experience in an Accounts Payable environment and has managed end-to-end AP processes. Alongside this you will need:

  • Experience in financial controls and payment processes
  • Experience in managing a team is highly desirable
  • Supplier onboarding and master data maintenance
  • Experience in process improvement
  • A collaborative approach to working
  • Very strong excel skills and computer literacy
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering excellent customer service
  • An accounting qualification would be beneficial
