Trinity College Cambridge invites applicants for the newly established post of Scholarships Coordinator. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated person to lead on all matters related to the awarding and monitoring of Trinity-funded Postgraduate Studentships and Bursaries and support the growth of a prestigious international Undergraduate Scholarship scheme.
Working as part of the Tutorial team, this role would suit candidates who would take the opportunity to develop processes and collaborate with key colleagues to shape the future of studentships and bursaries within the College and with partner organisations.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the community manager for the recipients of scholarships from the Global Talent Fund (GTF), many but not all of whom are undergraduate students at Trinity College.
- Managing the wide range of administrative processes related to the selection of candidates for College studentships and bursaries.
- Providing advice to prospective and current students in respect of funding opportunities.
- Maintaining funding webpages and other online systems.
- Preparing annual reports that combine quantitative and qualitative analysis of data.
Applicants will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organisational and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail, and be able to establish and maintain productive relationships with essential colleagues within the College, the wider University and with key external funding partners. Applicants should enjoy working with a diverse range of stakeholders and be able to display enthusiasm when engaging with prospective and current students.
Due to the developing nature of the role, applicants must be willing to take on new challenges and devise appropriate systems and solutions to assist with the awarding and development of the College’s portfolio of studentships and bursaries.
Applicants must have experience of working with committees, providing high level administrative support and funding and/or managing budgets, as the role holder will be responsible for the administration of awards and financial reporting. The role will involve managing a range of databases and being able to analyse data; a high level of IT proficiency is therefore required.
Salary: £39,000 per annum plus additional benefits, which include subsidised gym, free lunch when on site and private health and dental care, subject to eligibility. This is a permanent full-time post (36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
