The College’s Housekeeping Department is seeking to appoint a part-time Linen Keeper to ensure the efficient running of one of the College’s Linen Rooms. The post-holder will support the Assistant Housekeeper in the smooth and efficient running of the department by being responsible for the ordering and storage of linen, chemicals and other supplies along with the issue of these supplies to members of the department as requested. Duties will also include in-house laundry, reporting faults, cleaning the work area and booking linen in and out.

The post holder will be required to ensure stock levels are maintained appropriately throughout the year and will undertake termly stock takes in liaison with the laundry contractor. Ideally you will have experience gained in a similar role; however, what matters to us is your approach to people and a genuine desire to do a good job. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work and communicate successfully with a wide variety of people whilst also being discreet.

Hours of work are 30 per week (Monday to Friday) starting at 07:30 or 08:00 (to be discussed at interview).

Salary: £20,530 per annum (30 hours per week) (FTE £26,690) plus additional benefits, which include:
