About The Role
Supervise and update the various Azure Data Factory routines that feed our reporting warehouse, and assist with the build and amendment of various Power BI reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Ingest data from sources and export to destinations such as Azure Blob Storage, File System, APIs, SFTP and similar
- Perform adhoc queries including some Excel work
- Build and amend the various Power BI reports
- Assist in building, managing & maintaining MI reports and schedules
- Be self-motivated to work independently, managing your time and prioritising your workload appropriately
- Maintain resilience and composure to remain positive under pressure and in changing circumstances
- Demonstrate a desire to take ownership of your work and maintain excellent attention to detail
- Ensure a relevant level of specialist understanding with continuous development and learning
- Constantly seek and communicate improvements in business processes
- Undertake any individual or team task in line with the company values
Key Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in MI analysis
- Advanced Azure Data Factory
- Excellent Excel skills including complicated formulas and advanced data manipulation
- Advanced SQL data scripting including loop scripts and troubleshooting queries
- Advanced Power BI including DAX
- Analytical & logical mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
