We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced L&D Facilitator, who will be responsible for the facilitation of a wide range of learning solutions and programmes. The focus of the role is training delivery and coaching, with the ability to engage an audience and provide a positive learning experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is highly motivated and passionate about learning.

As a facilitator you are the front of house for the L&D team; you are directly meeting, engaging, inspiring, and developing others through the learning interventions you facilitate. You will need to ensure your knowledge of blended learning you are tasked with delivering is exceptional and you will be continually focused on engaging colleagues throughout your sessions.

We’ll need you to be able to:

  • Facilitate blended learning induction programs for new hires.
  • Use a mix of in-person and online learning tools to deliver training.
  • Deliver ad-hoc training sessions that address specific skills, knowledge gaps, or are based on other business needs.
  • Gather feedback from participants and make necessary adjustments to training programs.
  • Identify gaps in training programs based on your knowledge and user experience, and work with the team to address these areas.
  • When applicable, spend time coaching colleagues on how to improve quality or performance.
  • Work with process owners, ensuring training materials are up to date with the latest industry regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitation of Trinity Claims classroom and online training – regular Induction and also other training sessions based on business needs.
  • Ensure new hires are well-integrated into the company culture and understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensuring content and materials are up to date.
  • Coaching one to one with colleagues – identifying their needs and creating personalised coaching plans.
  • Creating a positive and engaging learning environment that inspires and influences behavioural change.
  • Use interactive and innovative training techniques to keep the audience engaged.

Skills/Attributes required:

  • Proven experience within the field of L&D particularly training delivery.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for helping others learn and grow.
  • A real team player with a can-do attitude.
  • You can energise yourself and your delivery around different subject matter focuses – for example systems training or customer service.
  • You possess excellent communication skills with the ability to read a room, receive feedback and adapt where necessary.
  • You are comfortable to address behavioural concerns and overcome barriers in the learning environment.
  • A high level of professionalism and personal integrity.
  • You are a positive individual; able to build relationships easily.
  • You are passionate about helping others achieve their learning goals.

Experience/knowledge:

  • Previous experience in an L&D training facilitator role, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of learning theory – how people learn and what makes learning stick.
