Role Overview. Why Join us
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a practical and dynamic Motor Claims Auditor to join our team. Contributing to development of and to execute the company’s Claims Journey Audit programme and processes, ensuring that randomly selected claims are audited thoroughly and appropriately with feedback directly to the agent, Head of Claims, Business Improvement Team and SMT.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities – What you will do:
- Review claims and associated call recordings and portal messages, as appropriate, to assess and score claims handling and customer journey
- Propose design improvements to above and deliver them in conjunction with the Claims Team, Directors, Business Improvement Team, IT and MI Management Team
- Develop reporting formats for sharing with external parties
- Clearly highlight training needs from audited cases
- Develop summary MI report in conjunction with the MI Manager to report monthly on Audit findings
- Review and develop Trinity's Audit capability across all Household claim perils, Home Emergency, Legal and Motor claims
- Manage Claims Journey Audits each calendar month, providing immediate feedback to SMT during the month as issues arise and reporting full results at month end
- To contribute to the overall development of the business in conjunction with the Head of Claims and the Senior Management Team, including meeting existing and potential clients
- To undertake any individual or team task or activity reasonably requested and in line with the company values
Person Specification
Experience / knowledge
- 5 – 10 years in an insurance claims handling and/or claims supervisory role
- Knowledge of Policy Structure, covers and £limits/excesses
Skills & Abilities
- Time management and organisation skills
- Tact and assertiveness when dealing with internal colleagues and SMT
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
