Grade: 2 SCP 4-5 : £13.05-£13.26 per hour (£7,865.05 - £7,989.34 pa) (FTE gross salary - £25,185 - £25,583 pa)

Responsible to: Office Manager

Hours of Work: 6:00am – 8:30am Monday-Friday, 12.5 hours per week, 5 days a week, Term Time only plus 5 Inset days, plus 3 weeks non term-time (2.5 hours per day).

Trinity Church School (incorporating Acorns Nursery) is an exciting and motivational place to work, with a roll of 200 pupils. We are part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership (MNSP), a multi-academy Trust.

We are looking for a hardworking, trustworthy, reliable and motivated person to join our team performing a range of cleaning tasks and caretaking duties as directed by the school:

  • To ensure that the required standards and quality of cleanliness are maintained;
  • To pro-actively assist with the delivery of the Facilities Management Services across the school, in order to maintain a high standard of functionality and premise upkeep;
  • General making good and general upkeep of building fixtures and fittings including drain/gutter unblocking, window cleaning, stain/graffiti removal, painting/decorating, minor plumbing repairs, building fabric repairs, playground repairs;
  • To use all cleaning materials and equipment in a safe and proper manner in accordance with the instructions and procedures determined by MNSP;
  • To open the school premises at the start of each school day at 6am;
  • To complete all online training as required;
  • To ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and security regulations;
  • To carry out such other duties as are required, and as are commensurate with the grade of the post.
