We are a large, well-organised secondary school in Redbridge looking for an experienced or newly qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join our busy team. There will be an option to train as an ELSA.
The duties include:
- Work inside and outside the classroom with individuals or groups
- Adapt support according to needs
- Look after children’s physical, social, and emotional welfare
- Create a stimulating learning environment
- Provide information and support to teachers
- Maintain records and attend review meetings
- Collaborate with specialists such as speech and language therapists and educational psychologists
- Ensure a safe, healthy environment and follow safeguarding procedures
