Trinity Business Support are working in partnership with our Logistics client in their recruitment of an HGV 1 Day Driver based out of Middlesbrough. Due to continued growth, along with new contract wins, our client is looking to add to their ever-growing team, based in Teesside.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery and collection of containers to various UK sites
  • Daily vehicle checking and fault reporting
  • Ensuring the load is secured for onward transit
  • Completion of company paperwork
  • Adhering to UK road legislation and working time directive

Shifts

  • Monday to Friday
  • 04:00 to 08:00 start times
  • 50-60hrs per week

Pay

  • Pay Rate Scale (PAYE Only):
  • £35,360 per annum based on 50hrs each week worked.
  • £37,128 per annum based on 60hrs each week worked.

Additional information

  • You will be paid weekly through Trinity Business Support until the qualifying period has ended and then the client will employ you directly and pay you monthly
  • Interviews will be held directly with the client
  • New passes considered (pending a driving assessment)
