Trinity Business Support are working with an established business in Gateshead, who are looking for an FLT Driver to join their team.
You will be working under the direction of the Warehouse Shift Supervisor. You will need to assist in all FLT operations to ensure the efficient performance is maintained in order to ensure the operation of the Warehouse/Business runs smoothly.
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and required to perform other warehousing duties as and when required by the client.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate the FLT to load and unload wagons
- Organise pallets in loading order for drivers
- Checking loads are secure.
- Perform daily equipment checks.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Responsible for completing all paperwork.
- Keep the warehouse, working areas and grounds clean and tidy at all times.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Ability to work unsupervised and at times, in a time pressured environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Warehouse experience.
- Valid Counterbalance and Reach licence.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 06.00-15.00
- Break paid
- 45hrs per week
Pay:
- £12.21ph
- £549.45 per week / £28,571.40 per year
