We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and inspiring Mental Health Therapist/Counsellor to join our Newcastle School in the Sanctuary. Our successful candidate will have a professional qualification to a first-degree level in a relevant field and experience of working with children and young adults who have experienced extensive early life trauma.
You will be expected to deliver services within a trauma-informed framework, embedding principles of safety, trust, collaboration, empowerment and inclusion. The role will contribute to the development of a trauma-informed culture through direct clinical work, consultation, and the design and delivery of high quality CPD for staff, parents and external partners.
