An excellentopportunity has arisen for a Pastoral Officer to join the team at TrinityAcademy Akroydon.
In this role you will be supporting the operational leadership of thepastoral system across the academy with the aim of raising theaspirations/self-esteem and attendance of students as well as supporting thedevelopment of enrichment activities which contribute to students' emotional andacademic development. You will also liaise with staff, parents, othereducation institutions and multi-agency partners to support students' progressand overall development.
What weneed from you?
- A minimumof 5 GCSEs at grade 4/5 or above, including English and Maths.
- Experienceof working with young people with SEN or behavioural issues.
- Anunderstanding of student's welfare and pastoral needs.
- Anability to communicate effectively with highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Enjoyworking with young people and families.
- Acommitment to inclusive education.
