Job Description
We are currently looking for a Sales Manager (Utilities) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with market conditions, ESG standards, and client supply chain requirements.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and sector developments.
- Facilitate connections between funders, IPPs, developers, and EPCs, supporting deals through the entire fulfillment phase in collaboration with internal teams.
- Manage key accounts, identifying and negotiating key accounts, overseeing the full sales cycle from forecasting to delivery and payment collection.
- Maintain close communication with key accounts to understand their pipeline and support needs, organizing internal resources accordingly.
- Promote and sell integrated solutions, including PV modules, mounting structures/trackers, and BESS.
- Expand sales coverage in the UK and Ireland by developing business with IPPs, utilities, and institutional clients, providing high-quality service to both new and existing accounts.
- Analyze customer data and trends, producing regular reports.
- Represent the company at local and national exhibitions and conferences.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within an international environment.
- Proven track record in project finance for solar PV, with strong industry relationships.
- Deep understanding of the utility-scale renewable energy sector, especially solar PV.
- Skilled in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and supply contract negotiations.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Based in London or the Greater London Area (mandatory), with travel across the UK and Ireland.
- Comfortable representing Trina Solar at major industry events.
- Results-driven, proactive, and team-oriented.
- Fluent in English, with an additional language being a plus.
