Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with market conditions, ESG standards, and client supply chain requirements.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and sector developments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, IPPs, developers, and EPC.
- Lead marketing efforts for utility-focused funds, including roadshows and investor presentations.
- Facilitate connections between funders, IPPs, developers, and EPCs, supporting deals through the entire fulfilment phase in collaboration with internal teams (Contract Management, Fulfilment, and Claims).
- Promote and sell Trinasolar’s integrated solutions, including PV modules, mounting structures/trackers, and BESS.
- Expand sales coverage in the UK and Ireland by developing business with IPPs, utilities, and institutional clients and providing high-quality service to both new and existing accounts.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage key accounts, overseeing the full sales cycle from forecasting to delivery and payment collection.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve order-related topics.
- Maintain close communication with key accounts to understand their pipeline and support needs, organizing internal resources accordingly.
- Analyse customer data and trends, producing regular reports.
- Report all account activities to the Regional Team Lead on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Represent the company at local and national exhibitions and conferences.
- Stay informed on competitor activity and market benchmarks, providing strategic insights and rolling forecasts.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within an international company.
- Demonstrated experience in project finance for solar PV, including existing relationships with investors, developers, utilities, and EPCs.
- Proven background in the utility-scale sector, ideally with exposure to renewable energy and solar PV.
- Proficient in CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.
- Strong customer-centric mindset with a focus on satisfaction and service quality.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Skilled in negotiating supply contracts and working with manufacturers, with a solid understanding of global supply chain dynamics.
- Based in London or the Greater London Area (mandatory), with responsibility for the UK and Ireland markets.
- Energetic and proactive, with a go-getter attitude and a passion for meeting clients and partners regularly.
- Comfortable representing the company at major solar industry events.
- Results-driven and eager to close deals, while maintaining a strong team-oriented approach.
- Fluent in English; any additional language is a plus.
