Responsibilities

  • Support and execute on site installations and commissioning works of Trina’s energy storage projects in the UK
  • Support Trina’s project execution efforts
  • Supervise project site activities
  • Comply with company policies, ensuring supplier and contractors follow up H&S regulations
  • Ensure smooth delivery of equipment on site
  • Report site activities‘ progress to engineering and project manager
  • Support resolving quality issues and punch list items
  • Support the development and implementation of Trina’s service and maintenance structure

Requirements

  • Suitable engineering degree or qualifications
  • Related experience in commissioning or maintenance of electrical equipment in the context of Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects
  • Must have experience on adhering to safety regulations (CDM) in an operational setting
  • Strong site experience and hands-on mentality
  • Familiar with related electrical standards, Regulations and Legislation (BS 7671, 18th edition etc)
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic conditions and stay focused/execute on goals under tight deadlines
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to interface with multiple parties (contractors, suppliers, client representatives)
  • CSCS card holder or eq.
  • Excellent MS Office capabilities, SCADA and MODBUS experience will be a plus;
  • Must be willing and able to travel heavily in support of existing & new Energy Storage fleet
  • Passion for your work, strong communication skills, a flexible and positive attitude, structured and dedicated way of working
  • Fluent in English any other additional language is a plus
