Responsibilities
- Reviewing first-case notifications, alarms, trips, and performance deviations.
- Performing remote diagnostics across BMS, EMS, SCADA, PCS/inverters, PPC, HVAC, fire systems, switchgear, and communications systems.
- Supporting safe remote resets, restarts, return-to-service checks, and incident response.
- Coordinating with field teams, OEMs, asset owners, contractors, and internal O&M teams.
- Preparing technical reports, incident records, alarm summaries, and maintenance support information.
- Supporting root cause analysis, warranty claims, availability reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Maintaining alarm response guides, escalation procedures, and troubleshooting workflows.
Requirements
- Technical qualification in electrical engineering, power systems, automation, renewables, or similar.
- Experience in BESS, renewables, power generation, substations, industrial maintenance, or electrical O&M.
- Knowledge of SCADA, EMS, BMS, PCS/inverters, PPC, CMMS, and industrial communications.
- Strong troubleshooting, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and support shift/on-call arrangements where required.
Desirable
- Utility-scale BESS experience.
- Experience with fire systems, HVAC, protection relays, Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, or VPN-based remote access.
- HV/LV electrical safety training or authorisation.
- Previous experience in a control room, NOC, remote operations centre, or technical service environment.
- Fluent in English, second language is a plus.
