Job Summary: The Associate, Operations Services is a 6 month fixed term contract to support the management of a portfolio of commercial real estate (CRE) loans, ensuring accurate setup, ongoing maintenance, and timely production of rate fixes, drawdown, and interest notices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, able to meet tight deadlines, with solid Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Responsibilities:
- Support the servicing of a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral UK and European commercial real estate investment and development loans where Trimont acts as Facility Agent and/or Security Agent.
- Work closely with Trimont’s in-house Legal team and, where necessary, external counsel, reviewing relevant finance documents prior to loan closing and through the life of the loan.
- Create financial models, diarising conditions subsequent, construction milestones and any other significant events, including the provision of borrower reporting, in-line with the relevant finance documents.
- Liaise with borrowers and their representatives to ensure reporting and other information required under the relevant finance documents are provided in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with lenders, borrowers and their respective lawyers in respect to loan redemptions, restructuring, amendments, waivers and other adhoc requests.
- Process transfers, set up waterfalls and review back-office calculations.
- Liaise with project monitors, borrowers and lenders regarding drawdowns and calculating lender splits, if required.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years loan servicing experience in finance, real estate or a related field.
- Solid analytical skills with intermediate to advanced level ability of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to achieve results in a dynamic setting.
- Organizational and administrative skills that reflect attention to detail and the ability to prioritize amidst competing demands.
- Skilled in managing sensitive information while upholding privacy.
- Ability to handle workload and special projects efficiently.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
