Job Summary
Trimont is currently seeking an Associate level Consultant to join our clients SPG COO team based in London. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for EMEA SPG. The successful person will work closely with all members of the global COO team, SPG Lending management team, including Desk Heads, colleagues in Finance, Operations and Technology. The role requires a keen interest in the strategy and operations of the Fixed Income business and encompasses a large range of responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Drive forward strategic initiatives
- Support the COO team in driving business planning, business strategy and key priorities
- Create meaningful analysis to aid SPG Lending management strategic decisions
- Assist in presentations for senior management on performance metrics and key initiatives
- Assist development of web-based management reporting tool
- Review capital and returns for transactions
- Coordinate between the business unit and supporting functions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Financial discipline preferred
- 2+ years’ experience within finance, banking, or a similar sector.
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, including intermediate to advanced functions.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team.
- Resilient and adaptable, capable of thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.
- Self-starter who is able to work independently with minimal direction
- Pro-active and results oriented mind-set
- Ability to effectively prioritise and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
