Bush Fit Honer in Cannock

Our client, a leader in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a skilled Bush Fit Honer for a permanent position. This role is essential in maintaining and ensuring the precision of aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities

• Install bushes and dimensionally check tolerances
• Fit and swage bearings, hone bushes in accordance with OHM/CMM/SOPM
• Ensure adherence to Customer Turn Around Times
• Embrace and actively improve LEAN processes
• Meet and adhere to all KPI targets for the department
• Check components and bush logs for accuracy
• Install bushes/bearings and check dimensionally using workshop manuals and drawings
• Use imperial calibrated measuring equipment
• Swage bushings with suitable methods

Job Requirements

• Engineering apprenticeship
• Proficiency in machining and using imperial measuring equipment
• Experience in an aerospace environment preferred
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy
• Well‑organised, punctual, quality conscious and flexible
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Right to live and work in the UK unrestricted
