Drive Transformation as our Next IT Project/Program Manager! Are you ready to lead high-impact, cross-functional projects across Corporate IS and Manufacturing Operations? Trimble is looking for a collaborative problem-solver to drive end-to-end information-system initiatives from scope definition through successful implementation. Join us to orchestrate key technology deployments, streamline processes, and shape the digital infrastructure that keeps our global teams moving forward.

What Makes This Role Great: In this role, you will be the driving force behind strategic technology projects, spanning acquisitions, divestitures, facility/real estate changes, system implementations, and process enhancements. You will directly influence how our Corporate IS and Manufacturing Operations teams collaborate, giving you high visibility across internal stakeholders and the opportunity to build standardized, scalable project governance that directly shapes our operational success.

Key Exciting Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead end-to-end technology initiatives, orchestrating network, server, software enhancement, and system integration projects from concept to launch.
  • Build and refine standardized project management processes, tools, and governance in partnership with cross-functional project teams.
  • Craft integrated project blueprints, managing budgets, resource allocation, implementation schedules, test scenarios, and critical path milestones.
  • Drive change management and risk mitigation strategies, anticipating challenges and executing contingency plans to keep projects on track.
  • Foster strong relationships across internal departments and external partners, ensuring transparent communication and alignment on key deliverables.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience leading cross-functional project teams within complex IT or operational environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, change management practices, and project governance tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills with a proven track record of influencing diverse project groups.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities, comfortable working independently with minimal daily oversight.

Bonus Points For:

  • Practical experience utilizing AI, Google Workspace, data warehousing, ERP platforms, and analytics systems including JIRA, Smartsheets, and Domo.
  • Experience managing project portfolios that connect both corporate IT infrastructure and manufacturing operations environments.

Logistics:

  • Location: UK - Newcastle (In-Office 4 days/week)
  • Travel Requirement: 10-15% (Domestic and International)
