Trimble is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Inside Sales Specialist in Newcastle to convert qualified leads, sell market-leading project management software, and help mid-sized businesses transform their digital operations.

What Makes This Role Great: In this role, you will capitalize on strong brand recognition and warm, pre-qualified leads to drive new SaaS adoption, directly helping construction and civil engineering firms streamline project delivery while growing your own quota-bearing sales experience.
- Proactively approach existing clients and cultivate fresh warm leads to drive net-new software acquisition
- Consult with decision-makers to sell value and ROI rather than just software features
- Collaborate closely with Sales Engineers to deliver engaging product demonstrations that convert prospects into long-term clients
- Prepare accurate, compelling sales quotes and identify strategic up-sell or cross-sell opportunities within mid-market accounts
- Partner with the wider AECO sales organization to share market insights and continually refine product knowledge
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 1-2 years of proven success in phone-based new customer acquisition, telesales, or junior account management
- Demonstrated capability to explain technical software concepts to non-technical business audiences
- Familiarity with modern CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce, to manage pipeline and lead conversion
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a self-motivated, structured approach to sales goals
Bonus Points For:
- Working knowledge or background experience within the construction, civil engineering, or project management sectors
- Prior experience transitioning from a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Customer Success role into direct quota-bearing software sales
