Job Location: Europe Remote

Our Department: Transporeon

At Transporeon, a Trimble company, we focus on digitalising and transforming transportation for all. Our Transportation Management Platform offers a diverse portfolio of freight applications serving all network participants. We achieved €150m in revenue before Trimble acquired us for $2 billion USD in 2022. As part of Trimble's Transportation & Logistics segment, we aim to create efficiencies in transport execution, positively impacting the economy, boosting business results, and benefiting the environment.

What You Will Do

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Define and relentlessly articulate a multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the MDM, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and enterprise data governance standards.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Own the entire product lifecycle from ideation, discovery, design, development, and release to ongoing operations, quality, and deprecation. Drive the product design and functional specification, working closely with the engineering team to ensure the platform architecture is scalable, resilient, secure, and performant.
  • Product Innovation & Future-Proofing: Actively integrate emerging technologies (AI/ML for data matching and quality, distributed ledger concepts, advanced APIs) to evolve the MDM service beyond current capabilities, ensuring the platform remains a competitive, best-in-class offering.
  • Team Leadership: Directly lead and manage a cross-functional team, including Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and Software Engineers, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and customer obsession.
  • Adoption, Evangelism, and Migration Strategy: Develop and execute a robust internal adoption strategy, including governance models, clear documentation, training, and support. Design and oversee the execution of a phased data migration strategy (from legacy sources to the new MDM) that rigorously prioritises data quality, system integrity, and guarantees zero impact on mission-critical business continuity.
  • Quality & Operations: Define and monitor key operational metrics (SLOs/SLAs) for platform reliability, data quality, and uptime. Ensure a robust operational model is in place, including incident management and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage communication and alignment with executive leadership, key business stakeholders, dependent product teams, and enterprise architecture groups.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS product management and software development.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, ideally managing product managers and engineering teams.
  • Proven track record of shipping enterprise-level platform services (preferably API-first), especially in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesise market trends, customer needs, and technical feasibility into a compelling and differentiated platform offering, showing strong product intuition.
  • A strategic mindset with experience developing multi-year roadmaps that anticipate future needs and drive measurable business impact across a complex enterprise landscape.
  • Nice-to-have: experience in shipping enterprise-level platform services, and managing complex migration projects from legacy systems to new platforms with a focus on business continuity and data integrity.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and work across different functions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical and strategic concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
