Job Title: Business Development Manager – Structural Design Software

Job Location: Remote or Hybrid (Leeds, London, Milton Keynes, Newcastle)

What You Will Do:

Trimble’s Tekla Solutions offer integrated services for the Structural Steel & Concrete Fabrication industry, including Detailing, Design, Fabrication Management, and BIM services. You will showcase products like Tekla Structures, Tekla Tedds, Tekla Structural Designer, and Tekla PowerFab, pursuing sales opportunities in the South Region.

Responsibilities:

• Sell Tekla Structures, Tedds, Structural Designer, PowerFab, and Trimble Connect
• Market our wider AECO portfolio (MEP, Viewpoint, SketchUp)
• Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and market activities
• Manage territory accounts, identify new opportunities, and develop long-term relationships
• Deliver software demonstrations
• Collaborate with marketing and pre-sales teams
• Network with related businesses and industry associations
• Attend site meetings, customer premises, and exhibitions
• Achieve KPIs set by Sales Management
• Use Salesforce for customer contact, quotes, and orders
• Provide sales forecasts

Skills & Experience:

• Proven sales record in construction software solutions, especially in Structural & Concrete markets
• Ability to understand and leverage our technology’s value proposition
• Willingness to travel (at least 20%)

Location Details:

Office locations are in Newcastle, Leeds, London, and Milton Keynes. Remote work within the UK or Ireland is possible, with occasional travel to offices for meetings and training.
