What Makes This Role Great: In this high-impact position, you will serve as the global Subject Matter Expert (SME) for civil construction software, acting as the final point of resolution for complex Tier 2 technical escalations. You will have the unique opportunity to represent the voice of the customer in product development, ensuring our future software releases directly align with the rigorous demands of active job sites worldwide.

Key Exciting Responsibilities:

  • Resolve high-complexity technical escalations involving corridor design failures, mass haul discrepancies, and data preparation issues.
  • Perform rigorous system acceptance testing on new software features to validate they meet the demands of active construction projects before market release.
  • Represent the voice of the workflow in product development meetings to translate field frustrations into actionable technical requirements for engineering teams.
  • Lead training sessions and mentorship programs for resellers and internal teams to elevate global understanding of civil engineering concepts.
  • Author expert-level technical communications and How-to guides to populate our global knowledge base and streamline support efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of direct industry experience in roles such as Data Prep Technician, GPS Champion, Pre Construction Specialist.
  • High-level proficiency in Trimble Business Center (TBC) or industry-standard design platforms like AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley MicroStation.
  • Demonstrated real-world experience in mass haul analysis, earthworks optimization, and volumetric computations.
  • Proven ability to analyze and optimize complex 3D machine control models and third-party data sets (DTM/TTM/XML).
  • Experience managing high-pressure technical issues in live construction environments where downtime has significant cost implications.
  • Proficiency in translating complex engineering workflows into digestible troubleshooting guides for a wider global support team.

Logistics:

  • Location: Milton Keynes, UK or Raunheim, Germany - In Office.
  • Travel Requirement: 15%.
