Protect Intellectual Property and Drive Revenue as Our Next Licence Compliance Manager. Are you an experienced software license compliance professional ready to protect global intellectual property and grow SaaS revenues across key European markets? Trimble is seeking an empathetic, strategic Licence Compliance Manager to join us on a nine month maternity cover contract to oversee compliance initiatives for our industry-leading SketchUp and Tekla brands, working collaboratively with clients, distributors, and legal partners to drive optimal business outcomes.

What Makes This Role Great: In this role, you will serve as the primary subject matter expert for license compliance across EMEA, stepping beyond standard auditing to build custom, region-specific strategies and lead executive negotiations that protect digital innovation while fostering long-term customer growth.

Key Exciting Responsibilities:

  • Provide licensing education and documentation to internal and external parties
  • Review licence compliance/piracy leads using available internal tools/databases
  • Build and implement LC strategies and workflows, including custom approaches per country (where needed) in line with local laws and regulations
  • Manage lifecycle of compliance lead from investigator creation through to closure
  • Explore new processes and procedures to increase the success of license compliance initiatives, specifically key KPI's such as conversion rates
  • Mitigate piracy pushback from new logos and convert to long-standing customers
  • Advise LC Agencies on adequate licensing settlements as per the PoA
  • Liaise with internal Sales, channel partners and LC Agencies to ensure customer compliance, market growth and collaboration on upsell opportunities
  • Monitor and maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting, QTD and YTD
  • Direct involvement in C-level negotiations or Legal escalations for key engagements

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of dedicated professional experience in software license compliance, auditing, or piracy management
  • Bachelor degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related commercial field
  • Proven proficiency with Cylynt (Smartflow) and Salesforce CRM platforms
  • Fluent certified English communication skills combined with proficiency in a second language, ideally French
  • Solid background conducting C-level contract negotiations and handling complex legal escalations

Bonus Points For:

  • Deep familiarity with Software Asset Management (SAM) tools and regional European compliance laws
  • Experience designing localized compliance strategies alongside third-party compliance agencies.

  • Location: UK, France, Ireland & Spain - Remote
  • Travel Requirement: 10%
