Job Location: UK – Milton Keynes, Leeds & Newcastle – On site 4 days per week
Because of continued business growth, we have a new opportunity in our AECO business sector. Depending on your background, you will work in one of our Inside Sales teams, selling either our Structural Design, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) or Project Management software to smaller and mid‑sized businesses across the construction, civil engineering or project management sectors.
All of our software products in these sectors are market‑leading and have strong brand recognition. Our reputation starts the conversation but to be successful in this role you must be an excellent communicator who understands the sales cycle and can sell the benefits of our software not just the features.
You will proactively approach existing customers as well as identify new potential business from businesses which have trialled our products and those that have requested additional information. You will be provided qualified (warm) leads from our Sales Development Representatives as well as having a team of Sales Engineers and other colleagues who can assist you in providing product demonstrations to potential customers.
We will provide you with all of the tools and support to be successful in this position.
About Your Location:
This position is an In Office role where you should be commutable to our Milton Keynes, Leeds or Newcastle office, you will work four days per week from your local office.

- Creating customer satisfaction with up‑sell and cross‑sell opportunities focusing on both existing and new business
- Drive evaluation and acquisition of new customers
- Nurture and successfully close new leads
- Prepare accurate and compelling quotes
- Identify and seize growth opportunities
- Exceed sales quotas with outstanding performance
- Represent Trimble in a professional and approachable manner
- Work pro‑actively with other members of the AECO sales team to ensure robust product knowledge
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
To excel in this role, you should have a strong foundation in proactive outgoing sales, you may have worked as a Sales Development Representative, junior Account Manager or have excellent customer service experience and wish to move into a quota bearing sales role.
- 1-2 years of experience in acquiring new customers by telephone
- Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
- Experience in selling products that require technical explanations to non-technical audiences
- Independent and structured way of working
- Knowledge of the construction industry would be helpful but not essential
