Our Department: Architects, Engineers, Construction & Owners
Are you interested in delivering sales enablement programs to increase the sales success of Trimble’s channel partners? Would you like to be part of a global sales enablement team that collaborates to define and implement best practices that elevate sales performance?
What You Will Do
As a Channel Sales Enablement Program Manager, you’ll work with leaders across the go-to-market organization to define needs and deliver programs to Trimble’s indirect sales channel for the AECO sector (Architecture, Engineering and Construction), with a primary focus on Europe. You’ll develop and implement sales enablement plans with the focus of providing the indirect sales team the necessary training and tools to elevate skills, increase opportunities, successfully and accurately message and position products, and win deals – with the ultimate goal to increase sales. You’ll partner with sales enablement peers to leverage direct sales content, adapting it to the needs of the channel — to accelerate onboarding and upskilling, increase product knowledge, and optimize tools. You’ll be a key part of a Center for Excellence team who is collaborative, innovative, influential, and fun!
Duties
- Partner closely with channel sales leaders to identify and create programs and content aligned to sales goals and seller competencies. Provide follow-through and coaching to ensure best practices take hold.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive enablement (process and content) that is aligned to business objectives and designed for optimal learning.
- Develop scalable processes for global channel communications and training, leveraging existing content and programs where possible.
- Create and manage channel onboarding programs to enable seller success
- Conduct needs analysis to define strategy and content
- Design and develop training and assessment materials for multiple delivery formats, including instructor-led classroom training, instructor-led virtual training, e-learning (videos, job-aids), and role-play scenarios.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to plan and develop training goals, objectives, and all course materials for training modules, assessments, tools, and events.
- Ensure all materials adhere to principles of instructional design and interactive usability per customer needs.
- Analyze key performance indicators and quantify program effectiveness
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
- Experience designing and implementing training programs within a sales environment, to build sales skills; demonstrated knowledge of needs analysis and creating learning programs to address needs; ability to effectively design and develop learning content including training, job-aids, documents, and videos.
- 5+ years of work experience in sales, sales enablement, or learning & development, preferably with a hardware or software company
- Experience with all elements of the ADDIE model, from Analysis and Design through developing and monitoring Evaluation models.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and a meticulous attention to detail
- Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience independently interviewing stakeholders and subject matter experts at all levels of the organization.
- Well-organized, self-directed team player. Willingness to remain open to others’ ideas and to try new things.
- Strong customer-service orientation and commitment to ensuring timely, quality solutions to customer issues.
What Experience & Skills You Could Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design or related discipline
- Experience using eLearning authoring tools (such as Articulate Storyline / Rise) to develop online learning modules.
- Experience as an administrator of learning management systems and/or sales enablement platforms; experience using CRM management systems, Salesforce preferred.
