The BIM & Engineering (B&E) business unit at Trimble is looking for an Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team. B&E is one of the largest and fastest growing business units in Construction, and is made up of high performing divisions selling software and services to customers around the world. This is a dynamic business unit with significant recurring revenue and exciting prospects for the future.

What You Will Do
You will look to continuously improve the processes and reporting to provide value-add modeling and analysis. Through working with the Sr. Director, Finance and your peers, this role is a great opportunity to immediately make contributions that shape the direction of Trimble’s future business models.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate business unit’s monthly headcount and cost planning and forecasting, ensuring thoroughness, efficiency, timeliness, and completeness
- Present functional financial metrics (monthly, quarterly, annually) with insightful narrative and analysis
- Prepare, consolidate and analyse by Product line and overall BIM & Engineering metrics for Engineering, Product Management and Support functions
- Be a key contributor working with business unit and cross-functional peers to the design and standardization of metric reporting processes and dashboards for use in BIM & Engineering and AECO as a whole
- Support month and quarter end close processes and reporting
- Assist in annual and long-term financial planning for the business unit
- Assist in developing financial models and business cases
- Serve as a key business partner to the business unit and cross-functional leadership team
- Collaborate with accounting, financial systems, reporting teams, and business unit peers to promote a collaborative growth environment within the AECO Sector
- Support strategic projects and initiatives
What Skills & Experience You Should Have
- Minimum 2 years of FP&A experience with subscription business model experience
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Strong grasp of key subscription business metrics and what ‘good’ looks like
- Experience with enterprise ERP systems, Domo (or similar Business Intelligence tools), Adaptive Planning, Salesforce or other leading CRM
- Fluent English language skills

You should have the ability to work independently as well as in a team and take initiative to lead projects and see them through to completion, being a positive change agent.
