Overview
Head of Artificial Intelligence, IgniteTech (Remote) – $400,000/year USD
IgniteTech is seeking a visionary AI leader to transform our portfolio of 100+ B2B products with GenAI capabilities. You will work directly with the CEO to architect a GenAI-first approach and drive customer retention and product innovation across our ecosystem.
This is a strategic role at the intersection of product strategy and artificial intelligence, offering the opportunity to shape the future of enterprise software.
Base pay range
$200.00/hr – $200.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Develop AI Opportunity Matrices that evaluate and rank customer challenges by AI feasibility, business impact, and risk to guide development priorities
- Craft evolutionary product roadmaps to transition offerings from current capabilities to AI-enhanced futures, balancing quick wins with long-term features
- Create detailed AI feature specifications with robust user stories, acceptance criteria, performance standards, and fail-safes to ensure strong user experiences
- Conduct customer segment analysis to identify adoption barriers and develop targeted enablement strategies for AI feature implementation
- Spearhead the integration of Generative AI capabilities across the product portfolio to drive engagement, satisfaction, and retention metrics
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Navigating bureaucracy or micromanagement that stifles innovation and autonomy
- Implementing solutions without customer insights or alignment with IgniteTech\’s strategy
Basic Requirements
- Proven track record delivering at least 2 production-ready products or significant features with AI/ML as core functionality
- Experience managing AI-enabled products through the full lifecycle from concept to scaled deployment
- Substantial experience in product leadership collaborating with data science teams and ML engineers

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The role requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
