SAP Solution Architect (Finance) | Remote | ContractThe ERP architecture practice of one our major enterprise clients is looking for an experienced SAP Solution Architect with proven S/4 HANA Finance experience to join them on an initial 6-month contract, to deliver on a key programme of work.Role: SAP Principal Solution ArchitectLocation: Remote, possible occasional travel to LondonContract length: 6 months initial contract, with possible extensionsContract type: inside IR35Budget: flexible dependent on experience and project fitStart date: ASAP (within one month ideally)Responsibilities:Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA architecture, design, and implementation.Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP architectures.Design and oversee deployment of finance solutions that align with financial transformation objectives.Lead the technical architecture of SAP systems within an AWS environment, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.Integrate SAP solutions with existing systems and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.Provide technical oversight and advice during the deployment, testing, and stabilisation phases.Act as a subject matter expert on SAP financial modules (e.g., FI/CO, FSCM, or Treasury) and cloud architecture best practices.Develop and maintain documentation, including solution designs, technical specifications and high level designs as required.Requirements: Proven experience as an SAP Solution Architect, with a focus on finance-related modules (e.g., FI/CO, FSCM, or Treasury).Hands-on expertise with SAP, including design, configuration, and deployment.Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and services, particularly in deploying and managing SAP environments.Experience with SAP integration tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration) and APIs.Solid understanding of finance transformation processes and best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles is an advantage.
