An exciting vacancy has arisen within the Elland facility for a Document Controller. Trillium Flow Technologies is seeking a Document Controller to join our Project Management team in Elland. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of document control activities across assigned projects, working closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate, timely and compliant documentation delivery. The role also includes an element of quality verification, supporting the Quality Verification Manager to review and verify project quality documentation where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of all document control activities on assigned projects, supporting Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Adhere to company document control processes and procedures while meeting individual client requirements.
- Prepare and manage document transmittals to and from customers and external parties.
- Review, control and verify incoming documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain organised electronic filing and archiving systems, ensuring full traceability of project documentation.
- Control and manage electronic and hard-copy document workflows between project teams and external stakeholders.
- Produce document status reports for internal teams and customers.
- Prepare final documentation packages for customer handover, including user manuals and manufacturing record books (MRBs).
- Support quality verification activities by reviewing documentation against defined requirements where required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of document control processes, procedures and information management systems.
- Assist with bid activities and ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Ideally 3+ years’ document control experience, preferably within oil & gas or nuclear environments.
- Experience using document management systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and databases.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, procedures and quality records.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively across multifunctional teams and communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive, accountable approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
