Trillectra AI is looking for a part-time Trainer to deliver its 16-week Generative AI programme to its first cohort of final-year university students and recent graduates. The material is written and runs on Vecorra, Trillectra's learning platform, with every lesson paired to a lab in JupyterLab. Your job is to bring it to life in live online sessions, keep learners on track between sessions and make sure they finish with skills they can use in a job.
Terms
Part-time, initially for one 16-week cohort, with the possibility of extension to further cohorts subject to funding and performance.
Delivered remotely from anywhere in the UK, with sessions held online. Paid at Β£35 to Β£50 an hour depending on experience, for an agreed number of hours each week. Hours and start date are agreed with the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
- Lead the weekly live sessions: introduce the topic, walk through the worked example and run the lab with the cohort.
- Support learners between sessions on the platform: answer their messages, post announcements to the cohort, help with notebooks that are not working and keep the cohort on track. An AI tutor handles the first question in every lesson and lab, so your time goes on the learners who are stuck.
- Mark the capstone and the employer project against the published rubric and give feedback learners can act on.
- Flag material that needs updating as models, APIs and prices change.
- Report progress and attendance to the Programme Lead.
Experience and skills
- Two or more years building with large language models: prompting, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation and at least one agent or tool-calling system that was used in a real setting.
- Confident Python, Git and the command line, and the composure to debug someone else's notebook live, in front of learners.
- Proficient in AWS, able to help learners deploy a small FastAPI service with Bedrock, ECR, CloudWatch and IAM.
- Experience teaching, mentoring or running workshops for students or early-career learners, and the patience to explain the same idea in more than one way.
- Able to explain evaluation, prompt injection and UK data protection clearly, as they apply to real systems.
- LangChain or LangGraph
- Teaching online
- Working with final-year students or recent graduates
The programme
About 85 programme hours over 16 weeks, Around 5 hours a week
The curriculum includes 183 lessons and 93 practical labs covering Python and API foundations, prompting and structured outputs, retrieval, fine-tuning, agents, evaluation, safety and governance, and AWS deployment. Learners finish with a capstone and a team employer challenge. Optional case studies and stretch exercises add more for those who want it.
