Our Team
At Trilitech, we drive innovation in Web3 by empowering developers and creators to build pioneering solutions on the Tezos blockchain. Our expertise spans core blockchain development, decentralised applications, infrastructure tooling, developer experience, and incubation programs, with a strong focus on cultural projects, decentralised finance, and gaming. We\’re dedicated to redefining possibilities and setting new standards within the rapidly evolving blockchain space.
Our Technology
Tezos is an open-source blockchain known for its flexibility, security, and unique self-evolving capabilities. With innovations like Etherlink—an EVM-compatible Layer 2—Tezos is scaling rapidly and attracting a growing developer community. Its ecosystem supports diverse projects, from Uranium.io, a decentralized marketplace for tokenized uranium, to leading digital art platforms like Objkt.com and fx(hash). Tezos also partners with major brands like Manchester United, reinforcing its global impact.
We encourage you to explore the Tezos website and follow us on Twitter & Discord to learn more about the project.
Who We\’re Looking For
We\’re looking for people who make things happen, not watch things happen. You should thrive under pressure, be excited by the opportunity to make an impact and you\’ll be given the autonomy to do so. Bring your enthusiasm and determination, and you\’ll play a critical role in our growth journey.
If you\’re comfortable taking initiative, pushing boundaries, passionate about crypto and working in a high intensity environment then you\’re exactly the type of person who will succeed here.
The Role
We are scaling a high-performance, EVM-compatible Layer 2 designed to host the next generation of decentralised applications – with a strong focus on DeFi.
The DeFi team is responsible for the balance and attractivity of the Tezos DeFi ecosystem. Even though all team members have a quantitative or engineering background, skillsets extend from solidity expertise, data and quantitative trading, to business development, incentive design and social media advocacy.
As a Web3 Technical Lead, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the technical success of DeFi projects built by external partners on our infrastructure. Rather than building a single protocol, you will operate at the ecosystem level. This will require a deep understanding of the entire dApp stack, from how the chain works, to the infrastructure required for projects to succeed (oracles, node providers, bridges, etc.)
This role can be based in either London or Paris offices or alternatively remotely within a timezone of 3 hour timezone of these locations.
What you’ll do
Partner & Protocol Support
- Advise senior management on the technical and ecosystem implications of new protocol entrants.
- Provide critical input to the foundation regarding grants and partnership applications.
- Closely collaborate with dapps engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation on our Layer 2.
- Participate in technical sessions (workshops, Q&A, code reviews…) to help builders solve problems and ship faster.
Internal Tech Leadership
- Closely collaborate with our infrastructure team to prioritize and select infrastructure providers.
- Proactively improve security, internally and ecosystem-wide.
- Occasionally contribute to in-house or partners’ projects when needed (from PoCs to deployment and monitoring).
Ecosystem Evangelism & Technical Advocacy
- Participate in the debate on chain identity
- Represent the protocol at hackathons, conferences, and meetups as a technical point of contact.
- Write or co-author technical content (articles, tutorials, case studies) to grow visibility.
- Participate in community discussions and cross-chain initiatives.
What you’ll need
- Deep understanding of DeFi protocols: AMMs, staking, lending, liquid staking, tokenomics, etc.
- Solid grasp of Layer 2 concepts: rollups, bridging, transaction lifecycle, user experience tradeoffs.
- Familiarity with a wide array of EVM infrastructure projects (bridges, node providers, tooling, automation, oracles, auditors…)
- Proven experience reviewing smart contracts in a production-grade DeFi context. Familiarity with Solidity and the EVM developer ecosystem (Hardhat, Foundry, OpenZeppelin)
- Humility and strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both devs and product stakeholders.
- Passionate and opinionated about Web3 and the decentralized finance movement.
Nice to have
- Experience in DevRel / DevOps / Front-end roles.
- Previous open-source contributions.
- Familiarity with multi-chain deployments (Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, etc.).
- Knowledge of off-chain scripting (bots, keepers, data pipelines).
What you can expect from us
- Competitive salary with substantial incentive schemes
- Hybrid working environment
- Daily lunch provided in-office
- Commuter costs reimbursement (up to ÂŁ2,700 annually)
- 20-day policy for working abroad
- 25 days paid holiday plus your birthday off
- Enhanced parental & adoption leave
- Pension contributions double matched (up to 10%)
- Private medical and travel insurance with mental health support
- Learning and development programme
- Life assurance (5x base salary)
Why You\’ll Love It
Join a fast-paced environment where you\’ll lead impactful initiatives. You’ll have autonomy to deliver results, supported by passionate colleagues in a focused but fun environment. We value ambition, creativity, and continuous learning—providing the ideal setting for career growth.
- Desire to Win: We strive for excellence and aim to be the best.
- Sense of Urgency: Adaptability and decisive action keep us ahead.
- Ownership Mindset: We lead by example, taking responsibility for outcomes.
