You’ll lead the technical vision and strategy of our of the key engineering units within the Tezos ecosystem focused on applicative technology Directly overseeing an engineering function of around 40 including managers and engineers (plus numerous external vendors) developing decentralised applications, tooling, infrastructure and smart contracts. As part of the leadership team you\’ll work closely with the Co-Founder of Tezos and have the opportunity to shape the technical roadmap, drive innovation, and ensure the robust development of our blockchain technology. Provide strategic direction and mentorship fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability across the engineering function Define and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with the Tezos Roadmap and objectives Stay on top of emerging technologies and trends within the blockchain and cryptocurrency space, selecting technologies and tools to optimise performance and scalability Collaborate closely with other senior leaders including Product, Marketing and Commercial to foster strong cross-functional partnerships in the delivery of high-quality solutions Establish and enforce data-driven quality standards and best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and performance monitoring Extensive experience as a Senior, Staff or Principal software engineer building products used by consumers Experience leading large scale complex projects concurrently with the ability to prioritise effectively and deliver high quality solutions within deadlines Demonstrate a genuine interest or curiosity for blockchain technology, prior experience working with Blockchain tech would be a bonus.
