We are seeking an experienced and fully qualified Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing electrical compliance, certification, and quality assurance across all electrical works carried out by the business. The ideal candidate must hold City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection qualifications and have previous experience operating as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS). You will be responsible for ensuring all electrical installations comply with current regulations, supporting site teams, maintaining high standards of workmanship, and ensuring all certification and auditing requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical Compliance & Certification
    • Oversee electrical installation testing, inspection, and certification activities.
    • Review and sign off Electrical Installation Certificates, EICRs, Minor Works Certificates, and associated documentation.
    • Ensure all works comply with current BS7671 Wiring Regulations and NICEIC requirements.
    • Carry out periodic inspections, fault finding, and technical support when required.
    • Maintain accurate records of testing, certification, and compliance documentation.
    • Act as the company’s NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS).
    • Ensure ongoing compliance with NICEIC standards and audit requirements.
    • Prepare for and assist with NICEIC assessments and inspections.
    • Monitor the quality of electrical installations and ensure corrective actions are implemented where necessary.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to electricians and apprentices.
  • Site Supervision & Management
    • Support and oversee day-to-day site operations across multiple projects.
    • Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
    • Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and site teams effectively.
    • Conduct toolbox talks, site inspections, and health & safety checks.
    • Liaise with project managers, clients, and office staff regarding progress and compliance matters.
  • Health & Safety
    • Ensure compliance with company health & safety procedures, RAMS, and current legislation.
    • Promote safe working practices across all projects.
    • Report incidents and assist in implementing corrective actions where required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
  • Current 18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations qualification.
  • Previous experience as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS).
  • ECS Gold Card / JIB Approved Electrician status.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical testing, inspection, and certification procedures.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
  • Experience supervising electrical teams and managing multiple projects.
  • Experience with EICRs within commercial and industrial environments.
