As an Employment Advisor, you will work with participants to improve their overall wellbeing and support them in progressing through a personalised action plan. This role is not focused on job outcomes but rather on making a meaningful difference to individuals’ wellbeing and confidence over a 3-month programme. You will work for a housing association, helping participants create realistic progression plans, provide support, and guide them in developing positive steps toward their personal goals., * Deliver a tailored 3-month programme aimed at improving participants’ wellbeing and personal development.

Support participants in completing realistic action plans based on their individual needs and circumstances.

Conduct 1-to-1 sessions, both face-to-face and virtually, with participants, ensuring progress is tracked and recorded.

Conduct some outreach work in the community, engaging participants at various locations.

Focus on wellbeing improvement scores and individual progression, rather than employment outcomes.

Help participants to build confidence, overcome personal barriers, and make meaningful steps towards their goals.

Work closely with participants, guiding them through the programme and ensuring they stay on track to achieve their action plans.

No need to generate referrals – participants will already be referred into the programme.

Complete all required documentation and maintain accurate records of participant progress.

Ensure effective communication with internal teams and other stakeholders, ensuring participants receive holistic support.

Experience working with vulnerable or disadvantaged individuals, helping them to improve their wellbeing or personal development.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and motivate participants.

Ability to create realistic action plans that reflect the participants’ individual needs and strengths.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Highly organised with good time management skills, able to manage a caseload effectively.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Proficient in IT and digital platforms for virtual meetings and participant tracking.
Desirable

Previous experience in a similar role within a housing association or community-based programme.

Driver’s licence preferred but not essential, with access to a vehicle for outreach work.
