Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced and inspirational Assistant Manager Prison Education to support the delivery of high-quality education within a custodial environment at HMP Onley. As Assistant Manager Prison Education, you will play a key leadership role within the education management team, supporting curriculum delivery, driving quality improvement, and ensuring learners receive an engaging and impactful educational experience that supports rehabilitation and future employability. Working closely with the Education Manager, you will lead and support teaching and support staff, oversee curriculum performance, and help maintain high standards across a diverse range of vocational and academic programmes, including areas such as Motor Mechanics, Art, Personal Social Development, Music, Media and other curriculum pathways. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educational leader looking to make a meaningful difference through education and help reduce reoffending by improving learner outcomes.
