Role Overview
Trigon Recruitment are representing a national training provider who deliver a wide range of contracts for the DWP and ESFA. They are currently seeking a Mental Health Caseworker to support customers move closer/into the labour market. This is a rewarding role that is both community and remote based.
Job Summary
This role is to support customers who are referred to the programme to move into/closer to the labour market through a series of two one hour sessions to be delivered each week for six weeks. These sessions will be delivered remotely in the community in JCP offices, cafes, libraries etc and also via zoom for customers in more remote locations. You will identify how their mental health condition is impacting their lives and employability prospects and overall well-being and create an action plan, complete with SMART targets to help them overcome these. Success will be measured on the customer successfully fulfilling their action plan.
Ideal candidate
- Live in local area and have a good understanding of the areas the contract covers
- Experience in dealing with people with mental health conditions
- An understanding of mental health barriers
- An understanding of potential referral partners and the services they can offer
- Empathetic and understanding nature
- Ability to write action plans
- Good rapport building
