Job Title: Training Administrator Location: Brighton Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 Role Overview: We are seeking a Training Administrator to join our team and provide essential administrative support for our pre-employment training programmes. This role is based in Brighton and will involve managing administrative processes across a range of government-funded training programmes (AEB/ASF etc.), including Entry to Construction, Warehousing, Health and Social Care, and various vocational courses. The Senior Administrator will ensure smooth daily operations, compliance with government funding rules, and provide support to both internal teams and external stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented administrator who is looking to take on a role with additional responsibility for operational efficiency and compliance in a fast-paced, dynamic training environment. Key Responsibilities: Administration & Compliance: * Oversee and manage day-to-day administrative processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and funding rules. * Support the quality assurance of training programmes, maintaining accurate records and documentation for audit purposes. * Ensure learner records are up-to-date and manage data input across multiple platforms to meet internal and external reporting requirements. Team Coordination: * Provide support to tutors and trainers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and administrative backup to deliver high-quality training. * Coordinate learner enrolments, registrations, and certifications, working closely with delivery teams to ensure a smooth process for participants. * Act as a central point of contact for staff, learners, and external partners regarding administrative queries. Stakeholder Engagement: * Maintain strong working relationships with external partners, including government departments, charities, and training providers. * Ensure effective communication and coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders, providing timely updates and responding to queries. Reporting & Documentation: * Produce reports for management on learner progress, attendance, and completion rates, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. * Ensure all documentation is prepared in a timely manner for audits, reviews, and compliance checks, adhering to regulatory and funding requirements. Operational Support: * Assist in organising and scheduling training sessions, exams, and events, ensuring that all logistical arrangements are in place. * Support the marketing team with administrative tasks related to learner recruitment and engagement initiatives. Qualifications, Experience, Skills, and Knowledge: Essential Skills & Experience * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. * High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant IT systems. * Excellent attention to detail, with experience in managing large volumes of data and maintaining accurate records. Desirable * Proven experience in an administrative role within a training or educational setting. * Previous experience working in a training provider or educational institution with a focus on compliance and quality assurance. * Experience coordinating and supporting training programmes. * Familiarity with government-funded programmes, including knowledge of compliance requirements and funding rules.
