Overview
We are seeking an engaging and knowledgeable Warehouse Tutor to deliver Accredited Skills Funding (ASF) training in Warehouse Level 1 and Level 2. The successful candidate will support learners in developing key skills and achieving industry-recognised qualifications through Highfield. This role will be based across our Barnsley and Sheffield training centres.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality, engaging training sessions for Warehouse Level 1 and 2 in line with ASF requirements.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons and learning materials that meet awarding body standards (Highfield).
- Conduct assessments, mark work, and provide constructive feedback to ensure learner progression.
- Support learners on a 1‑1 and group basis to achieve qualifications within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate learner records, attendance, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure all delivery meets internal quality assurance, safeguarding, and compliance policies.
- Work collaboratively with centre staff to ensure an excellent learner experience.
- Participate in standardisation meetings, CPD, and ongoing professional development.
Essential Requirements
- Occupational competency and experience within the warehousing or logistics sector.
- Experience delivering or assessing Warehouse qualifications (L1 or L2).
- Strong understanding of Highfield awarding body requirements (or willingness to undertake training).
- A recognised teaching or training qualification (e.g., PTLLS, AET, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and support learners with varying abilities.
Desirable Requirements
- Assessing qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/33).
- Experience delivering ASF or similar funded programmes.
- Functional Skills delivery experience (English/Maths).
- Experience working with unemployed learners or adult education.
