Location – Hybrid – 50/50 split between home working and on-site delivery (Greater London & South East)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Plastering Assessor to join a progressive training provider delivering high-quality apprenticeship training across the Greater London area and the South East. You will be responsible for assessing learners working towards Level 2 plastering qualifications, supporting them through to successful completion and End Point Assessment (EPA).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess Plastering Apprenticeships in line with relevant awarding body requirements.
  • Plan, observe, assess, and provide feedback to learners both on-site and via remote delivery platforms.
  • Utilise OneFile e-portfolio system to record learner progress, set targets, and support development.
  • Ensure learners are meeting the requirements of 20% off-the-job training, ensuring all activity is logged appropriately.
  • Support learners in preparation for EPA by conducting regular reviews and mock assessments.
  • Liaise with workplace mentors to ensure a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
  • Maintain up-to-date records, contribute to internal quality assurance and attend standardisation meetings.
  • Deliver engaging, compliant training in line with curriculum plans and quality frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • Recognised Assessor Qualification (CAVA, A1, or equivalent) – or willingness to work towards.
  • Occupational competency in Plastering – with relevant industry qualifications.
  • A minimum of Level 3 in Plastering qualifications.
  • Experience of working within the apprenticeship sector, ideally delivering or assessing Plastering standards.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship delivery models and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Confident using digital platforms, with experience of remote delivery an advantage.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
