About the Role:
Trigon Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading National Training Provider, rated Good by Ofsted (Grade 2). We are seeking a passionate and motivated Employability Tutor to support learners across Nottingham. In this rewarding role, you will empower individuals to build their confidence, develop essential employability skills to successfully prepare for the workplace. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong people skills, a flair for training, and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging non-accredited training sessions in employability and digital skills.
- Provide basic IT support, such as setting up email accounts, using attachments, and navigating online platforms.
- Guide learners through the job application process, including CV writing, cover letters, and interview techniques.
- Actively support learners in applying for jobs and progressing into sustainable employment.
- Deliver both group training sessions and tailored 1:1 mentoring to meet learners’ needs.
- Set clear, achievable targets and track learner progress using the company database.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong IT literacy with confidence in teaching basic digital skills.
- Proven experience in training delivery or mentoring, ideally within employability or skills development.
- Ability to work effectively with learners of varying ability levels.
- Experience in CV writing, job search strategies, and interview preparation.
- Comfortable facilitating both group workshops and individual coaching sessions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire.
- Organised, target-driven, and able to manage learner progression effectively.
- A genuine passion for helping people achieve their goals and progress into work.
- Commitment to being available for the duration of the contract.
