Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced and proactive Regional Employer Account Manager to support delivery across Employability programmes, covering Leicester and Hinckley, and working closely with the Employer Service Consultant covering Corby, Kettering and Market Harborough. As Regional Employer Account Manager, you will be responsible for employer engagement, sourcing new employers and generating suitable vacancies that align with participant needs and local labour market demand. You will play a key role in supporting employment outcomes by building strong employer partnerships and working collaboratively with delivery teams. Alongside employer engagement activity, you will support the delivery of tailored Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) sessions, stakeholder engagement activity, and on-site unaccredited support sessions to help participants move closer to sustained employment. Due to the regional and outward-facing nature of the role, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Employer Engagement & Vacancy Sourcing
- Act as the Regional Employer Account Manager for Leicester and Hinckley
- Work collaboratively with the ESC covering Corby, Kettering and Market Harborough to maximise regional coverage
- Research local labour markets to identify employer opportunities and skills demand
- Source, secure and manage suitable vacancies for Restart participants
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with employers and stakeholders
- Promote the Restart programme to employers and support contract-driven engagement
- Work closely with Employment Advisors to understand participant profiles and employment goals
- Support guided job application sessions and employability interventions
- Provide tailored, on-site support to participants to move them closer to the labour market
- Support engagement days and placement onto appropriate courses and IAG sessions
- Maintain regular contact with participants to support attendance and engagement
- Provide feedback to delivery teams on participant progress and employer activity
- Design and deliver tailored IAG sessions and employability workshops
- Deliver group and one-to-one sessions covering CV writing, interview preparation and mock interviews, confidence and motivation
- Create supporting materials to enable continued learning outside sessions
- Gather feedback from sessions and contribute to continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate records and tracking documentation for all employer and participant activity
- Ensure delivery aligns with DWP guidance, eligibility and compliance requirements
- Provide management information and activity updates as required
- Follow organisational policies relating to safeguarding, data protection and information security
- Contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement activity
Essential Criteria
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Proven experience engaging employers or stakeholders in a recruitment or employability context
- Understanding of welfare-to-work or employability programme delivery
- Knowledge of contract compliance and quality requirements
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence influencing and negotiating with employers
- Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and identify opportunities

- Experience working within the employability or skills sector
- Experience delivering IAG sessions or employability workshops
- Mental Health First Aid certification
- First Aid certification
- Training or qualification in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Additional Information
