We are seeking an experienced and versatile Vocational Tutor to deliver high-quality training across a range of employability and sector-based programmes throughout Sussex, Surrey and Kent. This role involves delivering accredited and non-accredited training to adult learners across the ASF/Bootcamps provision, focusing on key vocational areas including Employability, Business Administration, Customer Service, and Level 1 Preparing to Work in Schools.
Working across multiple delivery sites, you will design engaging sessions, support diverse learners, track progress, and help individuals develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to progress into employment, further training or sector-specific roles.
Teaching, Learning & Assessment
- Deliver high-quality, engaging training across Employability, Business Admin, Customer Service and Preparing to Work in Schools (Level 1).
- Conduct initial assessments and identify learning needs, barriers and support requirements.
Quality, Compliance & Programme Delivery
- Deliver programmes in line with funding requirements, awarding-body standards and quality frameworks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of curriculum content and delivery materials.
- Uphold safeguarding, equality, diversity and health & safety at all times.
Experience delivering classroom-based or vocational training in Employability, Business Admin, Customer Service or Preparing to Work in Schools.
Ability to engage and motivate adult learners using varied teaching strategies.
Willingness to travel across Sussex, Surrey and Kent (peripatetic delivery).
Teaching or assessing qualification (e.g., experience working with unemployed adults or adult-community learning).
Experience supporting learners with barriers to employment or education.
